After the successful completion of the Licentiate in Kodaly Music Teacher Training, trainees further study Diploma in Kodaly Music Teacher Training.  Dip. Kodaly Music Teacher Training is a six months undergraduate course conducted by the Kodaly Society of India in association with International Music Teacher Training Board. Teachers graduating from this course are qualified to teach in Primary and Secondary schools, Music Schools and private music lessons. Teachers can also head school music programs. Design curriculum and concerts. Prepare children choirs and ensembles.

The main objective of Diploma in Kodaly Music Teacher Training is to equip music teachers with the skills required to teach children and teens between six to sixteen years of age. Emphasis is given to sight singing, inner hearing, ability to read and write music and choir preparation. A high standard of work and competence is expected from the trainees, who are encouraged to develop a sense of teamwork, leadership, compassion, discipline, and an understanding of children. Teachers are trained to create sensitive and responsible youth with a vision and a brain full of innovative and constructive ideas.

Each trainee of the Diploma in Kodaly Music Teacher Training is required to undergo practical training experience. The guided practical training sessions assist in building the confidence and expertise of the Kodaly Music Teacher. It also assists a teacher to become a great teacher of future. After the successful completion of the course, Kodaly Society of India assists the teacher to get a job and also help with study and class materials.
